Mutton

What does a woman do when her 'babies' flee the nest for Uni, work or horror of horrors, their own family?  Well for the Mutton girls, feeling helpless, abandoned and with time on their hands, it was simple ... write a comedy show full of their own experiences and those of their friends, the joys, trials, anguishes, confusions and coping ... in short ... LIFE, WITH IT'S FUNNY (and sometimes peculiar) HAT ON!

This is your chance to see three 40/50 something ladies' fresh and entertaining take on reaching that 'certain age' and all the trials and tribulations involved!

The Neil Maya Quartet

The Neil Maya Quartet have been thrilling audiences with their eclectic take on jazz for the past seven years having played all over the Southwest and beyond.  Playing to the highest standards their music is dynamic, lyrical, and accessible to the public at large and often with a humorous slant.  With a combination of their own compositions and re-workings of standards (calling on many varied genres including classical, jazz, folk and funk) they are a must for all music lovers.

Revolutionary Road

Next cinema screening on Thursday 11th March at 7.30 pm is Revolutionary Road (Cert 15 running time 119 mins).  Titanic shipmates Kathy Bates, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Kate Winslet step onboard for director Sam Mendes' talk of suburban malaise in 1950s Connecticut where we find a couple whose once-idealistic relationship is steadily deteriorating into a ceaseless cycle of petty jealousy and bickering as they strive to retain their independence in the conformity obsessed world of picket fences and perfectly manicured lawns.
