Berberian Sound Studio Screens at Curzon Ivybridge

September 1st, 2012 by

On August 31st 2012, Berberian Sound Studio was released in the UK.  Just two weeks later (Thurs 13th & Fri 14th September), Curzon Ivybridge will be screening Berberian Sound Studio!

“Peter Strickland, the director of Katalin Varga, returns with a very different tale with Berberian Sound Studio.
Set in 1976, Toby Jones plays a documentary sound engineer who finds himself employed by a notorious low-budget Italian horror studio.
Uneasy in his new environment and surrounded by a world he finds alien, he throws himself into his work, failing to notice how life is slowly beginning to imitate art. An homage to the classic Italian Giallos of the period, Strickland’s film is another triumph.”

The film has already received 5 STAR reviews from The Guardian, The Telegraph AND Metro Newspapers (See Links Below)

We’re really excited about having such a good film so soon after the release date and we look forward to seeing you there.
